Birdlife
All my drawings are made in the field or developed in the studio from sketches which were made in the field. I often draw in Holyrood park and sometimes by the Water of Leith. East Lothian also offers some fantastic coast lines and islands.
Landscapes and Woodland
Arthur's seat has been like an anchor for me since moving to Edinburgh 20 years ago. I have always lived a short walking distance from this 'wilderness in the city' and never tire of walking here. It is a landscape that provides me with a place to escape as well as an endless source of inspiration.
Coastal Landscapes
These are all field drawings made along coastlines in Scotland. Some from Islands, some from the mainland. I don't think I'm happier anywhere else than when I'm on the coast.

These are high quality art prints on heavy weight archival, age resistant paper. Every print is signed.
Buying a picture
All works are for sale directly from the artist unless otherwise stated. Please contact Emily (via the contact page) if you are interested in purchasing a drawing or a painting. If art works have already been framed, 'framed' will be noted next to the picture. Most artworks can be posted within the UK (unframed) with an additional postage and packaging fee.
